Note: This interview was conducted with past and present team members Spotlight Boston Globe, who were in the Oscar nominated film "Spotlight". Mike Rezendes, Walter Robinson and Sacha Pfeiffer are still in The Globe and allows them access to ABC News in the former offices of Spotlight. Other team members and former members of the management Globe interviewed for this piece not included Marty Baron, Ben Bradlee, Jr. and Matt Carroll, who made valuable contributions to the story depicted in the film of 2015 and during the years of The Globe.

It's a little after 3 pm on Wednesday as a clock ticks on the wall of an office dimly lit outside Morrissey Boulevard in Boston.

The room is a mess, smells moldy and there are old, yellowed newspapers all parts lying on rickety benches and the dirty floor. But there is more to this unpretentious room can not be more than 400-500 square feet in size - no story, and lots of it.

As Sacha Pfeiffer sits upright on an old chair pulled unmanned office manager where all the odds and ends were thrown, she flashes a knowing smile.

There is something unique about her, and Michael Rezendes and Walter Robinson - something I can not put my finger immediately.

Standing there in this small room, messy, after speaking with reporters from the Boston Globe for more than five hours and, you never know that this is where the team of iconic Spotlight sat for years, which most likely it is saved countless lives and helped even more people in your community with their investigations and reports.

It is a humble group, rather than what you expect from journalists Pulitzer prize winners, who have just featured in an Oscar-nominated film, which features the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams and Michael Keaton.

Maybe that's it? Perhaps it is that the conversation keeps coming back to the authenticity of the film, not humble displays of their work. Maybe it's the fact that Rezendes, always investigative journalist, is still taking calls forecasters in the newsroom, where he now lives in the foreground, not managing other paper or knee-deep in a job more glamorous . Maybe it's rare blend of charm and authority of Sacha when he talks about the case or air of confidence and experience that demands respect right away that makes them different from Walter. No it is not.
