former President of Mexico Vicente Fox has a strong rebuttal to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump plans' s to build a huge wall along the Mexico-United States border.

"I will not pay for that f ------ wall," Fox said in an interview with Univision's "Al Punto" which will air Sunday, in which he called Trump a "madman" who looked like neither Republican or democrat. "Not more than himself. He is self-centered."

"He must pay for it. He has the money."

Trump noticed reproach and gave his own answer on Twitter on Thursday

"He should apologize!" he declares.

Trump went even further when Fox's statements came during the Republican presidential debate Thursday night. "The wall just got 10 top! Feet," Trump said.
Current public office in Mexico have been more temperate in large claims Trump, not to dismiss them.

President Enrique Peña Nieto said that the comments of Trump on Mexico were "very unfortunate" but added: "I do not want to contribute or make the fat broth someone who is vying to become a candidate," according to the Atlantic.

"He knows that what he is saying is false," Mexico's ambassador to the United States, Miguel Basanez, said during a confirmation hearing before the Senate in August. "He knows very well that going to apologize to Mexicans."

But Fox's successor, Felipe Calderon, who is also out of the office, was equally emphatic on the subject last week.

"Mexican people, who will not pay a penny for such a stupid wall!" Calderon told CNBC on February 8 calling Trump "a man not very knowledgeable."

"The first loser of such policy would be the United States," Calderon said. "If this guy wants the closure of borders anywhere, either for trade [or] so people will provide the prosperity of the United States, which is completely crazy."

In the Fox interview with Jorge Ramos Univision, Fox said "I would like to know" that Latinos were those who voted for Trump in the Nevada caucuses.

"They are followers of a false prophet and that will take them to the desert," Fox Latinos who voted for Trump said. "And if they think they will benefit from an administration led by Donald Trump, they are wrong. They must open their eyes .... This nation will fail if it goes into the hands of a madman."
