State University of West Virginia plans activities Earth Day

West irginia (AP) - West Virginia State University has a full day of activities planned for the celebration of the Earth Day on April 25. The university says that the celebration begins at 9:30 am and is to include presentations, film screenings and exhibitors, including electric cars on display in front of the University Union James C. Wilson. The events are free and open to the public. The keynote speaker is James Van Nostrand, who is director of the Center for Energy and Sustainable Development and Associate Professor of Law at the University of West Virginia. He will speak on "New clean air standards and sustainable development in West Virginia." The address will include a panel discussion with professors from the University of the State of West Virginia
