Tottenham in the hands of 10 men of Arsenal in the Premier League

Ten-man Arsenal ended a losing streak of three games to keep local rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 and keep their title of the Premier League at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Aaron Ramsey gave the Gunners the lead after 38 minutes with a quick movement under the cross of Hector Bellerin beyond Hugo Lloris in the Tottenham goal.

But things changed when Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin second yellow card earned, shortly after halftime for a needless foul on the striker Harry Kane Spurs.

Within minutes, Toby Alderweireld had leveled for local short distance. Kane then put Spurs in front shortly after a curling shot from an angle that seemed impossible.

However, Arsenal fought on despite their numerical inferiority and drew level when Alexis Sanchez low shot past Lloris as he slid through Bellerin goal.

The Colombian, who was deputizing for the injured Petr Cech, made nine stops throughout the game to keep Spurs forward line at bay - a statistic that frustrates Spurs striker Kane.

"We are disappointed, it is a missed opportunity," said Kane BT Sport after the game. "We should have gotten the third and fourth and that would have been the end, but if given the top side room punish you."

The result means Tottenham remains second in the EPL table, three points ahead of Arsenal in third place with just nine games of the season remaining.

As such, the real winners of all the drama in north London was the leading Leicester City League, which stretched their lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 win at Watford Saturday afternoon.

Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the game at Vicarage Road foxes with a perfectly placed curling strike from the edge of the area Watford early in the second half.

Speaking to reporters shortly after the game on his own side, Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, admitted that "if the Leicester win at Watford, who are in a very good position and do not depend on the results of other people."

When asked if Arsenal can still win the league after getting a fighting draw at White Hart Lane, Wenger added :. "I do not know Let's see what happens during the weekend, but we must have the breath of today and if we can repeat that we still have a chance."

"This shows that we had the right spirit and balance in the team and overall we had a solid performance," added Wenger.

West Ham comeback, Manchester City back wing winning ways

Elsewhere in the EPL Saturday, West Ham came back from two goals down to beat Everton 3-2 talisman midfielder Dimitri Payet scoring the winner in stoppage time.

Manchester City returned to winning ways EPL with a comfortable 4-0 win over bottom club Aston Villa. Sergio Aguero scored a brace then missed a penalty in the city. Yaya Toure and Raheem Sterling were also in white powder blue.

At the bottom of the table, unhappy career Norwich City continued its path 1-0 Swansea fellow fighters.

Newcastle United eased aside 3-1 at St James' Park in Bournemouth, while a goal in the last minute by Virgil Van Dijk rescued a point for Southampton at home to Sunderland.

Chelsea maintained their long unbeaten Premier League under Guus Hiddink, but he was frustrated in a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City.
