Woman killed in hit and run accident on the east side of Detroit Michigan

A woman died Tuesday night in a hit and run accident in East Detroit side.

The accident occurred at East Davison and Caldwell streets, west of Mound Road at 10:30

The woman was crossing when she was hit by a van red or burgundy. The driver left the scene.

No crosswalks on East Davison in the area, but very bright Another vehicle saw what happened and tried to help.

Women between 35 and 40 years old. She has not been identified.
